British Study Centres promotes new courses as StudyWorld 2019’s silver sponsor
One of the UK’s best-known English language study chains has become StudyWorld’s second silver sponsor.
British Study Centres, which teaches adults at seven UK locations as well as running summer sessions for young learners, is promoting two new skills-based courses along with a refocused offer for mature learners and new centres for juniors.
Nicola Whyley, BSC’s global head of partner sales, said: “We’re really excited about being a silver sponsor this year. We’ve always been a huge supporter of English UK in general because of its activity to support our industry.”
BSC have multiple English UK member centres and is a UK-based organisation that acknowledges the importance of having a support network, lobbying efforts and friends both locally and nationally.
Nicola said: “We’ve always been active in the regional English UK groups – we have BSC Manchester and York in English UK North and BSC Edinburgh in English UK Scotland and it’s always important for us to get marketing out about these fantastic destinations. It’s such a great platform for us.
“It’s a privilege for us to be sponsoring StudyWorld this year when the event is celebrating such a big birthday, and especially in the QEII Centre. It means a lot to us to be there.”
Kicking off the sales season in style at StudyWorld
“StudyWorld is one of the pinnacles in the sales year. It’s the launch of our products to our agents and also to our colleagues across the industry,” said Nicola.
“It’s a real high point in our sales cycle – for us, it kicks the sales season off in style. StudyWorld is such a great location and we’re surrounded by people who share a similar view and similar values to us – its always a privilege to be there.”
What is BSC promoting for 2020 at StudyWorld?
New adult products include two practical afternoon courses developed in partnership with National Geographic Learning, Skills for Careers Success and Skills for Academic Success. Both work well with BSC’s intern products or their IELTS/Cambridge programmes and will include a co-branded BSC/NGL textbook.
Another new course, English Prime, aimed at more mature students, offers small English classes with a teacher-led social programme four afternoons a week in Oxford, London and Edinburgh. “This is a great course and builds on the success of our 50+ product in Edinburgh,” says Nicola.
BSC will also be promoting high-quality new adult residences, a developing young learner portfolio, and the NCUK Foundation Year in engineering as well as business and humanities. Buyers can find out more about Young Learner developments on the BSC stand and also in the StudyWorld Young Learner village.
Agents are invited to BSC’s Open House at its London Centre on Friday 30 August, which includes afternoon tea, bubbly, a London tour and much more information about new and existing courses.
